Phil Mann gave a fascinating lecture at the Bunyan Meeting Hall, Silver Street, Bedford on 1st October 2024. He presented the history of W. H. Allen Sons & Co. Ltd and covered the full range of products from the early days of the 1880s through to the present day.
Phil was born in Queens Park, Bedford and was a W. H. Allen employee from September 1968 to December 2018. He is currently Heritage Officer for the W H Allen Engineering Association.
